Dear fam,
This evening, the new Jewish year of 5784 will begin. The last year was one full of learning and love, heartbreak and joy, adventures and chaos. Now is the time of looking forward and setting our intentions for the months to come.
May the next months bring spiritual growth and increased wisdom.
May we find vast expanses of love within ourselves — both for others and for ourselves.
May we find new avenues for patience.
May we continue to learn to let go of all that weighs us down.
May we stay curious.
Love,
Mikhal

A new song for the new year
My lovely wife released this song about transformation and finding peace with our first, most essential home — the physical form within which we live. It’s a collaboration with an incredible Ugandan dancer and artist, Haman Mpadire. I hope it inspires you as much as it inspires me.
