The list tells me you are a highly creative and sensitive person with a rich, complex inner world that doesn't necessarily align with the prism of the outer world, whose controlling ways may have made you believe you're too much, too this and that. In my view, we can never be too much! (I've been told I'm too sensitive and too emotional, without realizing those are my gifts!) We're just... different and unique! I look forward to reading your essays.
Thank you so much <3 This whole series is about reclaiming all those "oddities" that society deems too much and I'm super excited about it. I have a feeling it's going to be very healing. And I agree... being sensitive and emotional ARE super powers! We need more sensitive and emotional people! :)
We do! It's about time society gives sensitive and emotional people the safe space to just be ourselves. Telling our stories is an important step toward removing the shame around these natural parts of existence and toward healing. I'm excited for you and look forward to your stories.
Aw man, I forgot. As primarily a bread baker, I lose basically all of my culinary powers without gluten. My wife did some pretty fantastic brownies with a mix of regular and glutinous rice flour, but cookies are really hard. Is spelt on the table for you?
Ohhh I miss homemade bread. My dad is a bread baker and losing real bread post-diagnosis is a major bummer. Spelt is, unfortunately, not on the table! But there are some pretty good all purpose flour mixes out there, and I also do a great deal with gf oat flour (not all oats are gf enough for moi), almond flour, teff flour... I love baking so I have a whole cabinet of flours!

On the subject of what else is waffleable, I highly recommend chocolate chip cookie dough.
GENIUS. Now, how to make it gluten free for us celiacs.
