What a beautiful tribute to freedom and miracles--qualities celebrated by the Passover. I learned something new today! In particular, you write with great poignancy about the tragedy in Gaza, and how "until all of us are free, none of us are free." I very much agree with this sentiment. Please continue to write about it! The candle that you hold for your family and community will shine a light on people's conscience, and every flicker of light counts. Wishing you a peaceful Passover. And thanks for your mentioned! xo
Thank you so much for your very kind words my friend! It is so hard to hold all of the different kinds of heartbreak in my heart at the same time, but I believe that it is also the only way to hold on to humanity in these dark times. I'm so glad that it resonates ❤️ and thank you for your writing! I'm excited to read the piece you put out today (or was it yesterday?) -- I have it bookmarked!
I know, Mikhal! Nowadays, the amount of heartbreak is insane and I often wonder how we mere humans would be capable of holding it all? The answer is community. As long as we know that we have one another, that we are not alone, we can continue walk through this dark tunnel and hope for the light.
The article you saw was just put out today, right after you posted yours, and I thought about you when I researched and wrote it--there's a part about the Park Slope Food Coop and I think you would be delighted to read it (and watch the attached videos) 🤗😸💕
Thank you so much! Both for your kind words and for the fact that you take the time to read my words :) Sending lots of love to all of you this Pesach <3 (and always)

Amen to that! And now I can't wait to read it even more 😻
Thank you for sharing, Mikhal!
My pleasure! Thank you for writing <3
Mikhal-you always write so beautifully and eloquently, and seem to hit the nail on the head. Much love to you all this Pesach.
