Thank you for your words and your wife's. In our so apparently divided world, it has become my only consolation to hear from people who can't get over nor the slaughter of innocent Israelis, nor the one of Palestinian ones.

Friendly,

Sara

Thank you for writing 💜 That's where I find my modicum of solace as well.

Beautifully said as always. That postscript is so sad to read, because I know the kind of tribalist, bad-faith response it is meant to head off. People get so caught up in fidelity to "their side" and making sure to say all the "right" things and say them in the "right" way, that advocating for the most basic things (that everyone should stop killing each other, and that all people deserve to be alive, and fed, and have a home) is seen as "getting it wrong." Thinking of you and yours, pal – always grateful to hear your perspective.

Thank you, dear dear friend ❤️💟 the tribalism is a huge part of the heartbreak.

It is sucha didifficult place to be in right now in this broken world. I was on a zoom meditation/ prayer call this morning with a spiritual teacher Yocheved Sidof and Mati Engel along with people from all over the world. To try to hold space for all the grief all the pain.

I It was heartbreaking yet also beautuful to come together make space for all the suffering in this world. Mati said mourners kaddish for all the humans that have died in this madness.

I’m glad you were able to find a place to be with other folks who are processing this unbearable grief. 💜 I’m going to go do some planting in a minute.. I think touching earth will help.
